颜色词作为语言的一部分，有丰富的文化内涵，始终与文化同步发展。由于中西文化的差异，颜色词的象征意义在中西方有很大差异。然而，由于中西文化的融合，颜色词的象征意义也有共通之处。本文试图从中西文化差异和融合的角度浅谈颜色词的象征意义在中西方的异同。
本文共分三部分。第一部分：从中西文化差异浅谈颜色词不同的象征意义。第二部分：从中西文化融合浅谈颜色词相同的象征意义。第三部分：总结。在不同文化中颜色词的象征意义既有差异也有共通。了解这种差异和共通对于跨文化交际有深远的意义。

Abstract
Color words as a part of language, have abundant cultural implications inside them and always go along with cultures. Under different cultures in Chinese and English language, the symbolic meanings of color words are not the same. However, with the integration of Chinese and English cultures, the symbolic meanings of color words also have something in common. This paper tries to illustrate the same and different symbolic meanings of color words from the angle of differences and integration in Chinese and English.
This paper is divided into three parts. Part one is a discussion of the different symbolic meanings of color words in Chinese and English cultures. Part two is a discussion of the same symbolic meanings of color words in Chinese and English cultures. Par
