Abstract: The ontent of Fe, M n, Zn, Cu and Se of L ig ustr um obtus i if ol i um fruits digested by the
mix ed solution of HNO3 and HClO4 ( 5 1) w as determined by atomi absorption spe trometry and atomi
fluores en e spe trometry. The results show ed that the ontent of Fe, M n, Zn, Cu and Se in fruits of
L ig ust rum obtus i if ol ium was 86. 65g/ g, 19. 33g/ g, 23. 80 g/ g , 12. 11g/ g and 0. 037g/ g , their
relative standard deviation was betw een 0. 75% and 2. 17% and their re overy w as betw een 97. 10% and
103. 28%. The determination methods have the advantages of rapidity, feasibility and a ura y.
