A bstrac t: Application of remote sensing inform ation technology cou ld realtmi e m on itor and predict w inter w heat
grow th by grad ing, so as to help the agricu lture sector to develop and mi p lement appropriate managem ent m easures to
achieve target production purposes. Tak ing Jiangyan C ity, Jiangsu Province as examp le, the stud ies on grad ing mon i
toring of w inter w heat grow th during jointing stage w ere conducted based on CBERS ( CBERS02) satellite rem ote
sensing mi ages. Through computer classification techn iques and hum ancom puter interactive interpretation, comb in ing
w ith GPS inform ation check, the interpretation accuracy of w interw heat area is over 90% . Grow th status of w inter
wheat in thew hole regionw as mon itored in grade by using rem ote sensing vegetation index ( ) and inversion of leaf
