And the relations between the insect pototaxis and the wavelength , the intensity , the insect sensitization physiolo gy character were induced. The nature of the tendency to light action of night activity insect was discussed. The application history of pest control by insect pototaxis was summarized , and the significance of it in the pest control without social effects of pollution in today was brought forward , and the investigative direction in this field in aftertime was pointed out .
