On the basis of reference to existing research of domestic and overseas scholars, the paper selects gross value of industrial output as measurement index of industrial cluster performance according to the purpose of this paper, and combines characteristics of necktie industry to screen out four major categories of influence factors: factors of production, innovation, shared source, competition and cooperation among enterprises that inside and outside the cluster. Then, the paper takes Shengzhou necktie industrial cluster as an example to conduct empirical analysis. With the help of Eviews, stepwise regression analysis is used to establish a model. It’s found that three factors—input of designers, support from industry association and enterprise scale—have significant impact on the performance of Shengzhou necktie industrial cluster. Finally, countermeasures and suggestions are proposed, according to the three factors. Key words: industrial
