Based on the previous research, this paper focuses on the indicators used to describe the preferential channel in water-driven sandstone reservoirs and analyzes the quantitative description method of the preferential channel in water-driven sandstone reservoirs with high water content. The study found that the preferential channel in water-driven sandstone reservoirs with high water content is mainly reflected in diagenesis, reservoir structure and geological structure. This study will select key indicators related to oil production and water production from these three aspects to quantify the preferential channel in water-driven sandstone reservoirs with high water content.
