The novel indicates call for independent, equal and against traditional marriage. By reading the work and analyzing the background of author’s, I expressed my opinions on love and marriage. Marry for money is stupid while for love only is not realistic. Firstly, on the chapter1 I will introduce the whole cultural background of the author’s life and her experience of her own marriage.
