Methods  R TPCR and microarray IHC were p erformed to det ect t he mRN A and p rot ein exp ression of M FA P3L , PI K3 CA , A KT2 and Glaectin3 in p rimary stomach t umor s. Bioinformatics met ho ds were u sed to analyze t he p rot ein st ruct ure of M FA P3L . Results   M FA P3L , Glaectin3 and PI K3 CA p rot ein were highly exp ressed in p rimary stomach t umor (70 . 8 % , 17/ 24 , P = 0 . 022 ; 16/ 25 , 64 . 0 % , P = 0 . 0 17 ; 14/ 25 , 56 . 0 % , P = 0 . 04 5) . P IK3CA gene mRN A wa s highly exp ressed in GC (65 . 5 % 19/ 29 , P = 0 . 00 1) a s well a s A KT2 mRN A (56 . 0 % , 14/ 25 , P = 0 . 00 1 ) . Glaectin3 p rot ein coexp ressed wit h Glaectin3 and P IK3CA p rot ein . A dditionally , M FA P3L cont ain s multiple p ho sp horylation sit es and a con servative t ran smembrane domain . Conclu sion  Thi s st udy demon st rat ed t hat high exp ression of M FA P3L may be relevant to stomach t umori genesi s and get involved wit h PI3 K/ Akt p at hway to facilit at e t umor inva sion and met a st a si s.
