Test on the mechanical behavior of semi-precast recycled concrete elements

Abstract :In this paper ,four semi-precast recycled concrete U-shaped beams and six semi-precast recycled concrete
□-typed columns were designed to test the shear and seismic behavior of semi-precast recycled concrete elements. The
experimental factors were the construction methods and replacement ratio of recycled aggregates. The results show that
the shear failure modes and mechanisms of semi-precast U-shaped beam were similar to those of the whole cast ordinary
concrete beams. Shear capacity of semi-precast beams with the same shear-to-depth ratio was similar that of the cast-in-
situ ones. For the □-typed columns ,the energy dissipation capacity decreased with the increase o
