Abstract:A microchip system with contactless conductivity detection (CCD) was manufactured by micro-fabricating technology. A variety of factors affecting output signals such as excitation voltage, excitation frequency and solution concentrations were investigated. The equivalent circuit of the CCD detection cell was simulated using wewb5.0 software. It was found that the experimental and simulation results were in good agreement. The equivalent circuit well represented the electrical characteristics of CCD cell
