However, during the period of the rapid development of these small- and medium-sized enterprises, the difficulty in financing becomes a common problem, which is also a problem of the economic system. The solution of the problem involves many aspects, such as finance institutions, the government and the enterprises themselves. This article firstly states the clear concept of small- and medium-sized enterprises, which lays the foundation. Secondly, it introduces the important role played by small- and medium-sized enterprises so as to show us the necessity of solving the financing problem. Then it gives us a brief picture of the development of small- and medium-sized enterprises and shows us main problem of financing. According to the article, the imperfection of small- and medium-sized enterprises, little finance source, and inappropriate political and legal environment have all contributed to the problem. Finally, some specific measures are put forward. It is imperative to improve financing environment, seek for more finance source, and encourage financial institutions to give more support.
