Based on the USB Camera Image Acquisition and Control System
ABSTRACT
NI company is currently popular LabVIEW graphic development environment, it is also a powerful programming language also known as G language . It makes create program modular, easy to debug, understanding and maintenance, and simple, intuitive programming. Therefore, it is especially applicable to image acquisition and processing system. And with its convenient USB bus, transmission speed, plug and play, strong commonality, scalability, good and high performance-to-price advantages to get extensive application. Put LabVIEW language and USB camera combining image acquisition system, will integrate the advantages of both.
Based on the USB Camera Image Acquisition and Control System can be divided into image acquisition, image save and create EXE file there parts. First, this paper discusses the development of virtual instrument, characteristic and research status, detailed introduces the virtual instrument and its representative LabVIEW software. And points out the USB webcam related knowledge and its advantages and disadvantages, based on this research the visual and movement module and the corresponding structure, design the LabVIEW applications written method and step, finally achieve the expected design effect, this design also created EXE file. Anyhow, the system designs ensure that the system is practical, and the accuracy, with low cost and short development cycle, etc.
