Soil erosion is one of main powers that lead the attenu ation of terrestrial carbon pool . And it is also the important process of the interaction between terrestrial carbon sink and marine carbon sink . The effects of physical and man - made factors on the transfer and accumulation processes of soil organic carbon in erosion regions were expounded from different as pects. Special attentions were paid to the redistribution of carbon in the erosion process , which was the key for predicting the contribution of soil organic carbon cycle on the carbon resources/ sink actually and evaluating the carbon budget . According to the characteristics of soil organic carbon cycle , some problems needed to be solved were put forward .
