He mainly wrote five novels in his life,with the last one not finished. His works are the paradigm(范例) writings of the Jazz Age. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest American writers of the 20th century. He is also considered a member of the Lost Generation of the 1920s. This Side of Paradise (1920) It is the debut novel of F. Scott Fitzgerald. The Beautiful and Damned(1922) The novel provides a portrait of the Eastern elite during the Jazz Age, exploring New York Café Society. The Great Gatsby (1925) The novel takes place following the First World War. American society enjoyed prosperity during the roaring 1920s as the economy soared. Brief Introduction Tender Is the Night is a novel written by American writer F. Scott Fitzgerald. It was his fourth and final completed novel, and was first published in Scribners Magazine between January and April, 1934 in four issues. The title is taken from the poem Ode to Nightingale by John Keats.It mainly describes a poor but talented man who chased his dream all the way,finally he suffered failure and became decadently depressed.
