Wireless Power Transfer Technology

Abstract With the continuous development and progress of technology, the wireless power
transfer(WPT) technology has attracted wide spread attention recently. Especially in some specific
occasions, the WPT technology has its unique advantages, which do not exist in the tradition V-MODE
based on the wired power supply, to greatly improve the reliability, convenience and safety of power
supply. In this paper, the development and application of WPT technology is investigated. Firstly, several
major means of WPT technology and their relative merits are elaborated based on the development of
WPT history. Secondly, in view of the current hot focus of WPT technology, the WPT based magnetically
coupled resonance is discussed in detail, including its current research, analysis methods and some key
technologies. Finally, the application focus and development prospects of WPT technology are further
investigated.
