4.2 First Acquisitions
4.2.1 Defining the First Application
indiGO differentiates between different measurement methods (e.g. luminescence
measurement, fluorescence measurement) by defining certain applications. For
example, the measurement mode, the exposure time, the measurement sequence
and, possibly, the filter setting can be defined.
You must have at least Project Manager status to define an application. Otherwise,
the function is not available to rule out faulty operations.
Click on the Application – New button to start the assistant for creating a new
application.
The assistant appears and you first have to enter a name for the application you
want to define. You can also add a descriptive comment.
Next, you have to define the type of analysis. Three variants are available:
Single Image
Single samples are measured. Only one sample is measured per analysis.
The sample IDs are freely defined during the analysis.
Multiday Analysis
Several analysis per sample are possible. Thus, studies over several days
are possible. The sample IDs can be pre-defined in the project.
Multiday Multisample Analysis
Several samples can be measured with one analysis which will then be di-
vided into single measurements by the program. The entire process can be
carried out several times, i.e. over several days.
