Results showed that dye wastewater ould be de olorized qui kly by iron s raps and dye was ready to rea t with iron, de oloration rate of a id brilliant s arlet GR and rea tive brilliant red X- 3B up to 90% after rea tion time 1 h. The main me hanism of de olorination in luded redu tive rea tion to destroy olour fim tional group and oagulation a tion, furthermore, there were different me ha nism of de olorination for different kind of dye.
