Executive Engineer, CS TRB Engineering, Siemens Ltd., Maneja, Vadodara TABLE 1.1 DIMENSIONS OF UPPER BEARING CASING OF 90/160 MM BEARING Abstract-- General solution procedure is given to enhance the loading capacity of 10 MW Siemens200 steam turbine(SST200) by adopting the 110/180 mm size bearing in 90/160 mm size Sr. No. Original Dimension, Modified Dimension, bearing casing. First 90/160 mm bearing with casing is modeled mm mm in Pro-E wildfire 4.0 and analyzed in ANSYS workbench 12.0 1 175 240 for mechanical and thermal loads and benchmarked. Then 2 244 288 modification is done in 90/160 mm bearing casing to 3 220 288 accommodate 110/180 mm bearing. At last modified bearing 4 294 302 casing is analyzed with 110/180 mm bearing and found suitable 5 34 44 for use. 6
