A cleaning Zn- Mn system hos hating solution used in surface retreatment of iron and steel at room tem erature was develo ed in order to erform cleaning hos hating roduction at room tem erature.The design idea that all the molecules or ions involved in the hos hating solution could react with each other forming hos hating film, water, sediments or substances volatilized in the rocess of coating dryness was erformed. The hos hating solution contains no 2 nitrite and heavy metals. A colored film weighted 11 g/ m formed through quickly hos hating at 3~ 35 , which could resist to dro ing CuSO solution for 72 to 135 seconds. The surface of this work doesn∀ t need water washed after 4 hos hating. Key words : Zn- Mn system hos hating; surface retreatment; room tem erature; non- washing
