Methods: To collect all kinds of medical literature on the Ⅱ type of diabetes medication, medication safety and advers drug reactions in the article, combined with Department of internal medicine and Pharmacology related chapters, to be analyzed. Results: At present, the treatment of type Ⅱ diabetes drugs mainly include oral hypoglycemic agents and insulin two categories. Conclusion: The most widely used oral hypoglycemic agents are metformin, acarbose, glimepiride, repaglinide etc. We should pay more attention to the safety of medication for diabetes. In addition, we should strengthen the understanding of adverse drug reactions and avoid serious adverse reactions.
