Fairly 主要用于修饰褒义的形容词和副词.如fairly clever/good/ well/ bravely。 修饰名词时，放在不定冠词后，如 a fairly good student。 much 修饰动词。 I told her that didn’t matter much. 我告诉她那事不很重要。可与too 及辨析级连用。Much too修饰形容词和副词。 I’m afraid my husband is much too busy to see visitors. 恐怕我丈夫太忙不能接待来客。 It was much worse than I thought. 这比我想的要糟糕的多。 too much修饰不可数名词，如too much work 。 too many修饰可数
