本实验指导是为广东省高教厅重点实验室之一的“现代生物技术实验室”开设的“基因工程原理和方法”而编写的。本课程主要面向广州石牌地区六所高校的研究生,也包括部分高年级本科生。该课程以实验为主,为保证学生在修读本课程时有较好的理论基础,要求所有修课学生预修“分子生物学”或“分子遗传学”。
本课程实验采用了一个内容连贯的实验系统(用质粒载体克隆植物DNA片段),作为同学们掌握DNA体外重组基本技术的训练(实验一至实验七)。另外,根据本研究室多年教学、研究工作的经验,我们还把反映近年基因工程技术发展的PCR、Southern杂交技术等纳入实验内容,以保证学生修完本课程后能较快地开展相应研究工作,更好地适应未来研究工作的需要。
本实验指导由庄楚雄、穆虹、易继财、姚涓、吴豪、张群宇、刘耀光、梅曼彤等老师参加编写,易继财老师负责指导书的编辑等工作。
本实验指导为试用第三版,试用后我们将根据各校修课的情况和要求作进一步修改,敬请兄弟院校的同行多提宝贵意见。
