Introduction:

LiliumdavidiiisavaluableornamentalplantspeciesthatiswidelydistributedinnorthwesternChina,particularlyinLanzhou.Theplantgrowsindifferenthabitats,includingforests,meadows,androckyslopes,amongothers.ResearchershaverecentlyfoundthatLiliumdavidiiharborsadiverserangeofendophyticfungiinitsrootsystem.Endophyticfungiareknowntoprovideseveralbenefitstotheirhostplant,suchasenhancingplantgrowth,nutrientacquisition,andstresstolerance.However,theecologyofendophyticfungiinLiliumdavidiiispoorlyunderstood.Therefore,thisstudyaimstoinvestigatethediversity,composition,andecologicalroleofendophyticfungiintherootsystemofLiliumdavidiiinLanzhou.

Objectives:

1.ToevaluatethediversityandcompositionofendophyticfungiintherootsystemofLiliumdavidiiindifferentnaturalhabitatsinLanzhou.

2.ToidentifypotentialfactorsthatinfluencethedistributionofendophyticfungiintherootsystemofLiliumdavidii.

3.ToinvestigatetheecologicalrolesofendophyticfungiinthegrowthanddevelopmentofLiliumdavidiiinLanzhou.

Methodology:

ThestudywillbeconductedindifferenthabitatsofLiliumdavidii,includingforests,meadows,androckyslopes,inLanzhou.Rootsampleswillbecollectedfrommultipleplantsineachhabitat.Therootswillbesurfacesterilizedandculturedondifferentnutrientmediatoisolateendophyticfungi.Thediversityandcompositionofendophyticfungiwillbeanalyzedusingmoleculartechniques,suchasPCRamplificationandsequencingoftheITSregion.Additionally,environmentalfactors,suchassoilpH,nutrientavailability,andwatercontent,willbemeasuredateachsitetoassesstheirpotentialinfluenceonthedistributionofendophyticfungi.TheecologicalroleofendophyticfungiinLiliumdavidiiwillbetested
