They mainly use FormZ for modelling and Electric Image for animation and rendering. Just a little info about Electric Image: Electric Image was originally a Mac-only application, up till version 2.9. A few months ago, version 3 was released, called Electric Image Universe. runs both on Mac and Windows. Electric Image doesnt have radiosity or global illumination, etc. But its rendering speed is extremely fast. It has been used and praised by many Mac based architectural firms world wide. Its also used by the film industry.
