Abstract: T he performance of RT M process and 2D braided com posit es of bismaleimide resin was stud-
ied. t is found t hat not only t here is a low viscosity but also t his low viscosity can be ret ained in a long
time, the performance of RT M process of bismaleimide resin is very ex cellent. n addition, the mechanical
propert ies of BM matrix 2D braided composites are diff erent in different direct ions. T he m ax imum value
w ill appear about on t he braided angle. Analysis show s that tradit ional tests is not very appropriat e t o e-
valuat e mechanical propert ies of 2D braided composite.
