Nanchong, a City lies in hin terland of Sichuan Province, has lost more than 60% wetlands. According to investigation result of wetlands areas and wetlands biological resources the article analyzed the main problems of wetlands, and proposed the suggestions to protect and utilize the water resources of Jialing River T hese sugges. tions included the projects of controlling pollutions, resuming wetland along the river, constructing protective wetlands districts along the Jialing River, and building active water park of artificial wet land system.
