3-D Analysis of Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor with Magnet
Arrangement Using Equivalent Magnetic Circuit Network Method

Absrmer-In this paper, the fieids and forces of permanent
magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM) with segmented or
stewed magnet arrangement are analyzed according to length
of segment o r skew. And, the effects according to the lateral
overliang of magnet are investigated. For the analysis, 3-
dimensional equivalent magnetic circuit network (3-D EMCN)
