For immunocompetent patients , anterior virus uveitis and acute retinal necrosis syndrome are common. But for immunodeficient patients , cytomegalovirus retinitis and progressive outer retina necrosis 町e seen. Both of them occur in advanced stage of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome( AIDS) patients. Other immunodeficient conditions such as leukemia , organ transplantation , malignant tumor and autoimmunity diseases are also at risk for cytomegalovirus retinitis because of the long-term applying of immunosuppressant. This article discusses forementioned intraocular virus infectious diseases with literature view.
