1.Although/Though...,yet/still…虽然”,，但是〃〃

Althoughtheytriedtheirbest,yettheylostthegame.尽管他们尽了最大的努

力，但还是输了比赛。

playground.尽管天在下雨，孩们还是在操场上踢足球。

Note:

⑴句中although/though引导让步状语从句时，两者都不可再与but连用。

（）although的用法较为正式，though的用法较为通俗，常见于非正式语体

或口语。

Althoughhewastired,hekeptonworking.（正式文体中）

Thoughhewastired,hekeptonworking.（口语或正式文体中）

3（）although可以单独作副词置于句末用，表示“可是；然而；不过”等意，

而although不能；though还可构成asthough似（乎）,eventhough即（使），而

although不能。例如：

eventhoughitwastolatejwouldgobackhome.尽管天气太晚，我还是要回

家。e（venthough表强调）

他看起来不像穷困的样。a（sthough从句中用虚拟语气）

用倒装结构。

例如：

此句型中常用的名词有：

length长（度），width宽（度）,height高（度）depth深（度），size大（小）,age年（龄）

等。

⑴此三种句型可以转换，但要注意倍数及说法上的细微变化。例如：

=Thisriveris4timesthelengthofthatone.

⑵此三种句型中的倍数均可改为分数、百分数、half等其它程度的状语。

如：
