Abstract This paper deals mainly with the hardware and software design of the protective circuit for lithium-ion
batteries (7 in series),whose control center is PIC16C74. By making full use of the powerful judgment and logic
calculation of PIC16C74 as well as the flexible software, this paper tests the working condition of the lithium battery and
realizes the protection performance of overcharge, overdischarge and over current.
