The rapid development of electronic pressure sensor technology in recent years, It has been used in the pressure, acceleration, displacement measurements. The piezoelectric sensors are constantly to intelligent and miniaturized development since the development of PDVF piezoelectric film. This paper introduces the basic theory of piezoelectric sensors which are piezoelectric effect, piezoelectric materials, piezoelectric equation and piezoelectric sensor equivalent circuit. The piezoelectric acceleration sensor, piezoelectric film sensor, high G piezoelectric acceleration sensor, piezoelectric sensor in the vibration system are introduced referring to recent literatures.
