* Good morning/afternoon/evening. Morning. The title/topic of my presentation/talk is … … This is the outline of my talk. I will go through four parts: introduction, experimental, results and discussion, and conclusions. My talk covers four parts: firstly, introduction, and then experimental, followed by results and discussion, and finally conclusions. In the results and discussion, I will go through three parts: typical … …, LC … …, and characterization. ? First of all, I would like to give you a brief introduction to main … … Our study is using a so-called thin film polymerization technique to investigate the polymerization of LCPs. The reason why we carry on the research in this field is simple. Normally, all the bulk polymerizations are carried out in vessels. Although we know the in situ study of the polymerization is very very important for LCP syntheses, we are not able to directly examine the morphology of the reaction system during the polymerization process in the vessel. In order to solve this problem, we developed a thin film polymerization technique to in situ observe the LC texture evolution and the microstructure changes of the polymerization system. In our study, the reaction system we used is a very thin layer, so we can directly observe the reaction through a polarizing microscope. Using this technique, we can carry out research in many important areas for LCPs, such as … …These are some of the related papers we published in this field. In the experimental part, I will roughly go through the monomer synthesis and the thin film polymerization. The monomers we used in this study are ABA and ANA. They are synthesized by the acetylation of HBA and HNA, respectively. Using these two monomers, we will carry out the copolymerization reaction under a polarizing microscope. This is the experimental set up for our thin film polymerization. We have two glass slides, the top one and the bottom one. The reaction system are attached on the top glass slide
