So it is necessary to studythe critical successful factors of BT projects. The process and contents of BTprojects are reviewed at first based on which factors which are critical to thesuccess of BT projects are identified taking into account the successfulcriteria of BT projects. Through a questionnaire survey, a list of criticalsuccessful factors is obtained. Then the importance of the critical successfulfactors on the list is determined through second round questionnaire survey.The data is also analyzed from overall and different group perspective. Thefindings are of usefulness for all stakeholders of BT projects in China.
