Abstract:Test of com arison between the single carbon fibre strengthening concrete and strengthening reinforced concrete
(RC)beams with hybrid carbon fibre (CF)and high strength glass fibre (SGF)and CF sheets strengthening concrete was
carried out.It was shown from results that, the hybrid fiber reinforced olymer (HFRP)strengthening concrete beams ob-
tained not only a significant increase of ductility but also a remarkable decrease of strengthening cost with a slight increase of
load carrying ca acity and a little decrease of stiffness com ared with the CF sheet strengthened beams.The durability was
briefly discussed as well.
