It has been widely used in external insulation of outer wall in foreign countries, but it is very limited in China, it is less than 10%. In recent years, China has vigorously promoted polyurethane hard foam insulation materials and developed several external insulation technology, but the engineering application is still very few. Therefore, it is necessary to discuss the technical application, existing problems and solutions of polyurethane hard foam exterior insulation. 1. Properties of polyurethane hard foam Polyurethane hard foaming, which is called rigid polyurethane foam plastic, is a low-density microporous foam material with closed hole structure. As an external wall insulation material, it has the following excellent properties: (1) good heat preservation. The coefficient of thermal conductivity of polyurethane rigid foam for o. 018 ~ O. 023 w/mK, and the coefficient of thermal conductivity of polystyrene, as a general rule, be 0.03 w/mK, extruded board, the general is 0.028 w/mK, by contrast, the coefficient of thermal conductivity of polyurethane rigid foam is the lowest, heat preservation performance is the best. (2) low density and high intensity. Polyurethane hard foam density generally about 32 kg/m3, much lighter than other traditional insulation materials, and achieve the same insulation thickness required for smaller, can greatly reduce the wall body weight, transport, installation is more convenient.
