GIS possesses excellent data analysis and efficientgeographicmodeling capabilities. A combination ofSpace syntax andGIS willhelp to enhance the spatial analyzed ability ofGIS and deepen quantitative research of space syntactic on urban space structure. The inte gration of space syntax and G IS is discussed from the function and data point of view. Besides, take X ianlin campus of Nanjing NormalUniversity for example, the characteristics of the layout of the campus space and the organization struc ture are analyzed.
