Methods: 92 patients with chronic osteomyelitis admitted in our hospital from January, 2015 to January, 2016 were selected as subjects, patients were randomly divided into control group and treatment group according to the odd even number of hospitalized (each of 46 cases). The control group was given routine antibiotic liquid lavage drainage for treatment; The treatment group was given negative pressure closed drainage combined with antibiotic beads implantation for treatment. The function recovery, recurrence rate, debridement again rate, cure rate, dressing frequency, antibiotic use time, healing time, hospitalization time, bacterial detection rate after treatment were compared between the two groups of patients; All patients were followed up and satisfaction was investigated. Results: All patients were followed up for 6 to 18 months, the excellent rate of recovery and the cure rate in the treatment group were 91.3% and 95.7%, which was significantly higher than that of the control group (67.4% vs 65.2%, P0.01). The recurrence rate, debridement rate and bacterial detection rate in the treatment group were significantly less than those in the control group (P0.01). The times of dressing, time of antibiotic use, healing time, hospitalization time and satisfaction rate of the treatment group were also better than those of the control group (P0.01).
