Its principle is to present earlyw arning mi m ediately after quake by using the velocity difference betww en electrom agnetic w ave and seism ic w ave and that betw een P w ave and S w ave. The application of earthquake early w arning technology and the configuration of earthquake w arn ing systems at home and abroads are discussed in th is paper. The benefits from application of this technology are introduced and its prospects are predicted.
