Then what effects are there for li- brary science research paradigm and research tendency brought by big data?Firstly ，this paper gives a comprehensive description and evaluation for the present library science research (paradigm)in China. Then ，the paper analyzes the main effects of library science research by big data ，which are library science research paradigm and library science academic exchange. Finally ，the pa- per summarizes the new research tendency of library science affected by big data as follows :to form data paradigm ;to develop re- searches led by problems of big data ;to construct service patterns of library scientific research users ;to focus on the study of data citation in big data era.
