Even so, people didnt pay enough attention to the important influence by the human factor of marine safety, and the accidents still happen. Through the analysis of the human factor of maritime accidents in this paper, the study in this area was pointed out some shorts either at home or abroad, and comes up with some related measures and solutions. The paper has discussed the bad impact of the human factor to marine safety, the request of crew to the marine traffic safety and presented some countermeasures to improve the quality of the crew. It has provided reference for the supervision organizations, the shipping departments and related training bodies to assess the level of the operation, the quality of the security, to perfect the maritime safety management system to reach the reduction of sea accidents.
