近年来的研究表明,VTA DA神经元表现出频率刻度的振荡活动,包括theta(4-10Hz)、alpha(8-12Hz)、beta(15-30Hz)和gamma(30-80Hz)等低频振荡。

Abstract:
VTA DA neurons are an important subset of midbrain dopamine system that plays a crucial role in regulating emotions, rewards and motivations. Recent research has shown that VTA DA neurons exhibit frequency-scaled oscillatory activity, including theta (4-10 Hz), alpha (8-12 Hz), beta (15-30 Hz) and gamma (30-80 Hz) low-frequency oscillations. These oscillations are closely related to various behavioral and cognitive processes and have important physiological and pathological significance.
This paper will introduce the characteristics, regulatory mechanisms and neurobiological basis of low-frequency oscillatory activity of VTA DA neurons and the current research progress. In addition, this paper will discuss the pharmacological effects of low-frequency oscillations of VTA DA neurons, including enhancing, inhibiting and modulating effects, as well as the possible mechanisms of drug action.
Keywords: VTA DA neurons; low-frequency oscillation; pharmacological effects; dopamine system; theta; alpha; beta; gamma.
