Abstract: The se lfmade T Oi 2S Oi 2 nano composite so lwas app lied to the w hite cotton pop lin by d ippni g and nipping method.
A fte ra iring, the fabric was hyd rothe rma lly treated fo r 20 m ni . Exce llent UV screening prope rty of the fabric coudl be acquired
a fte r the trea tment. The pa rticle si e ana lysis of the so l showed tha t the particles ave rage si e was about 33. 04 nm, and the
so l had strong abso rption to ultrav ioel t. The SEM showed that a lot of nano pa rticles appea red on the cotton f bi re s surface.
The cotton pop lin finished w ith the so l had some loss of tensiel strength.
