In addition to the above, it is a lead-free, chromate-free steel sheet — whose eco-friendly properties have been re- alized by means of alloyed coatings of Ni, Sn and Zn. Because of its high resistance to whisker generation, ECO-TRIO can be reliably used for electronic parts. DDue to its opti- mized Sn-Zn alloying ratio, ECO-TRIO offers high solder wett- ability and, at the same time, is highly re- sistant to whisker generation. It also fully meets the needs of lead- free solder brazing. By adopting an Ni substrate and using an Sn-Zn alloyed coating, ECO- TRIO offers satisfactory corrosion resistance. ECO-TRIO is high in surface conductivity and can therefore be ap- plied in various kinds of shielding cases. Eco-friendly chromate-free coatings are standard in ECO-TRIO specifications. Due to the application of uniform electrolytic coatings, metal hairs are not gener- ated in ECO- TRIO during press forming.
