Department of Environmental Engineering,Shanxi University,Taiyuan 030013,China ) Abstract: This article provides an overview of phase transition mechanism and preparation of microencapsulated phase change material and its application in architecture. Physical process featuring simple equipment and low costs can be applied in large-scale continuous production. The yield of chemical process is high in industrial production. The physical conditions of the raw material are altered by physical-chemical process to coagulate and form microcapsules from solution.
