Call Control Model of Softswitch Based on Session Management

Abstract Existing call control technology of softswitch lack of eective control led to low quality of service. We propose a call
control model of softswitch based on session management. The model, based on the original softswitch call control model, adds session
management sub – model, establishes a session authentication and access method according to the relations of session and call, and
reduces the number of authentication through managing the call leg of legs queue. The simulation results show that the model can
eectively reduce the call blocking rate, reduce average delay and network load, and improve the quality of service.
