In 2004, the phenomenon of neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) was first reported. Extracellular decondensed chromosome, released from activated neutrophil, forms a network struc- ture, which is called NET. This review focused on the function of NETs in tumor cell proliferation, metastasis and tumor-associated thrombosis.
