英语语言文学论文：基于履约目的的STCW公约马尼拉修正案翻译原则探究 【中文摘要】国际海事组织(IMO)在2010年通过了《1978年海员培训、发证和值班标准国际公约》的最新修正案,即STCW公约马尼拉修正案。马尼拉修正案体现了当今航海技术与航运业的最新发展,突出了海员综合素质的培养,有利于促进海上安全和保护海洋环境。如何翻译新的马尼拉修正案使其便于中国船员的履约成为当务之急。本文运用功能翻译理论作为指导理论,采用功能翻译理论家所提倡的“全局到局部”的宏观翻译研究方法,尝试性地探索方便中国船员履约的马尼拉修正案中文版本的翻译原则。简要介绍了马尼拉修正案的修改背景、主要修改内容及语言特征之后,作者在功能翻译理论的框架下,从宏观层面尝试性的总结了三条便于履约的翻译原则：(1)参考以往其他海事公约的翻译；(2)尊重海事公约文化；(3)依托船上具体实践。作者希望通过对STCW公约马尼拉修正案翻译的研究总结的三条原则对将来其他海事公约修正案的翻译工作及其相关研究有所启迪和帮助。 【英文摘要】The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has adopted the Manila Amendments to International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers,1978 in 2010.
