Solid adsorbents have attracted growing in- terests in fields of carbon dioxide capture technology owing to their unique advantages such as easy pro- cessing,re-usability,small loss of raw materials. In this paper,advantages and disadvantages of the sol- id sorbents,which have developed in recent years,are discussed. According to the difference of adsorp- tion temperatures,the sorbents could be divided into three types: the low temperature,medium tempera- ture,high temperature. This paper focuses on the adsorption properties and modification methods of high temperature calcium-based sorbents considering high temperature absorption of carbon dioxide.
