Atikaki → country of the caribou History Atikaki is on some of Canadas oldest rock, formed about three billion years ago. Several glaciers sculpted the remaining surfaces to form the base of todays blue lakes and jade green forests. Where is it? Atikaki Provincial Park is located in Manitoba, Canada. It is located east of Lake Winnipeg, along the Ontario border in the Canadian Shield region. The Canadian Shield : a broad region of Precambrian rock (pictured in shades of red) that encircles Hudson Bay. It spans eastern, northeastern, and east-central Canada and the northern portion of the upper midwestern United States. Where is it? Besides, some parks lie around the Atikaki . Today there are still no roads into Atikaki, but you can paddle in or fly in from Bissett, Riverton Tips The most popular water route begins at Wallace Lake, south of the park. To fly into Atikaki, arrangements can be made with lodges, outfitters, or air charter companies.
