ND Steel, the 09CrCuSb steel, is the best ‘low-temperature sulfuric acid dew point corrosion resistant steel’ at home and abroad. It is commonly used as metal Tube material in chemical equipment. When the ambient temperature is high, especially in acidic atmosphere, ND Steel is often affected by corrosion and reduced the service life, which greatly limits its application. This topic research ND Steel in corrosion characteristics, microstructure and electrochemical corrosion accelerated test. The experimental data discussed factors that affect the corrosion rate.
Corroded six groups of ND steel sample. Analyzed the corrosion phase precipitates with XRD. Observed the configuration of ND Steel by optical microscope. Do electrochemical corrosion test at 20℃, at 10%, 20%, 30% H2SO4 solution. Through Tafel Plot and Linear Sweep Voltammetry, current and potential changes of the samples in this process can be analyzes.
Experimental results show that, in the process of different 2Cr13 stainless steel corrosion, both with the rise of temperature, corrosion phenomena occur more easily. And the corrosion rate increases with the rise of temperature. The pitting on nucleation is began after new development but not corrosion hole. Corrosion and corrosion is formed after the hole can also can form the new development of corrosion hole. The pitting corrosion of narrow and deep hole cavitation erosion, and the crevice corrosion is broad and shallow holes in the electric dipole corrosion test. 2Cr13-Cu ,crevice corrosion occurred on average electric dipoles occasionally corrosion speed is greater than the electric dipole cast corrosion rate. 2Cr13 corrosion resistance of cast iron is better than, but in strong oxidizing environment corrosion resistant performance is not very good.?
